Holiday Food Drive

The holidays are meant to be a time for family and friends to come together and celebrate life. This year saw many of our community’s families still recovering from the economic blows of the pandemic and inflation. Currently, the Aurora Food Pantry serves over 1,300 families a week, a number we expect to rise as we enter the holiday season.

We’re making sure no one goes without a special, holiday meal. On November 1 – 27, we’ll be running our 17th Annual Holiday Food Drive. We’re partnering with three local grocery stores selling pre-packed bags of groceries for shoppers to purchase and donate to the pantry. Bags are available at Prisco’s Food Market and Cermak Fresh Market in Aurora and La Chiquita Food Market in Montgomery.

We need your help to make sure no one goes hungry during the holidays! Purchasing bags of groceries at participating grocery stores is just one way you can help support our efforts. You can also purchase a virtual bag of groceries below or host a food drive of your own. Read on to discover how you can ensure there’s food for all this holiday season.
